Software Description

In order to use the software, you need to get a free serial key. It is available here.

SoftMaker FreeOffice is available in 28 languages. You can install it exactly as you want to, with the default option being the most common one, adding most of the features that people would expect. Obviously, if you want more, you can go for the complete install to get absolutely all features.

In the main window of the program you see a title bar with application name and the current document that is opened. There is also a menu bar put right under title so you can access program commands. With the standard toolbar you get the very common commands. Just move your cursor over one of the icons to see a description of the function.

You can save in 16 formats, including DOC, but you cannot save in DOCX. However, you can open and edit DOCX files to then save as DOC. The processor’s default file option is the TextMaker TMD format.

In the presentation app you can combine video, audio, images and drawings. You can also create animate objects and slide transitions. Presentations can be saved as PowerPoint files if you want to.

In spreadsheets you can add a maximum of 16384 columns, with the maximum rows being 1 million. Inside a workbook you can add 256 worksheets. It is very hard to imagine that you would need more than that.

Speaking about unique features, one thing in this office option is that you can open any of the other 2 applications from the one that is open.

With the use of the SoftMaker FreeOffice suite you can export your documents in HTML, EPUB, and PDF formats.
